How To Use
Never pour water directly into the center or soak the entire pot. If the whole surface gets wet at once, the clay absorbs too much pigment, which can cause the pot to crack or the color to “sink” into the terracotta where you can’t reach it.
- Start at the Rim: Lightly dampen your fingertip or a brush with a drop of water or rose water.
- Work the Sides: Instead of dipping into the middle, gently rub the wet applicator against the inner side/edge of the pot.
- Spiral Inward: As you continue to use it over weeks and months, gradually work your way from the outside edge toward the center.
- Keep it Dry: Only wet the tiny area you are currently using. This ensures the rest of the pigment stays concentrated and ready for your next application.
